This Privacy Policy explains how Tolunsoft ("we", "us") handles information when you use the MobileDB Admin app and related services at tolunsoft.my.id (the "Service"). MobileDB Admin is a mobile database client that lets you connect to and manage remote databases (such as MySQL and PostgreSQL) directly from your Android device. All database connections are made directly from your device to your own database server — we do not relay or proxy your data through Tolunsoft servers. The app also shows ads via Google AdMob. We are committed to complying with the Google Play Developer Policies, Google AdMob policies, and applicable data-protection regulations including GDPR.
1. Information We Collect
a. Information you provide
MobileDB Admin does not have an account or registration system with Tolunsoft. All connection profiles you create (such as database host, port, username, and password) are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted to Tolunsoft.
b. Database connection data
When you connect to a database, the connection is established directly between your device and your own remote database server. Tolunsoft does not act as an intermediary, does not see your queries, and does not receive any data from your database. The data you browse, query, or modify remains between your device and the server you choose to connect to.
We strongly recommend using encrypted connections (SSL/TLS) when connecting to any remote database, especially over public networks, to protect your data in transit.
c. Information collected automatically
Tolunsoft itself does not collect usage data, crash reports, or analytics from this app. However, limited technical data may be processed by third-party providers (see Section 4) to serve ads.
- Basic device data: such as device type and operating-system version, to display compatible ads and maintain app performance.
- Advertising identifier: may be processed by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads (see Section 4).
- Local preferences: your app settings and connection profiles are stored locally on your device using the app's own storage.
2. Device Permissions & Why We Use Them
The app only requests permissions needed for its functionality:
- Internet (INTERNET): required to connect your device directly to your remote database server, and to load and display ads via Google AdMob.
- Network state (ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): used to check connectivity before attempting a database connection or loading ads.
- Advertising ID (AD_ID): used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads. You can reset or opt out of personalized ads through your device's privacy settings.
The app does not request microphone, location, camera, contacts, SMS, call-log, storage, or any other sensitive permissions unrelated to its database management functionality.
3. How We Use Information
- Store your database connection profiles securely on your device so you can quickly reconnect.
- Establish a direct connection from your device to the database server you specify, to allow you to browse, query, and manage your data.
- Store app preferences and settings locally on your device.
- Serve and measure ads through a third-party provider (Google AdMob).
4. Third-Party Services
a. Your database servers (user-configured)
When you add a connection in the app, MobileDB Admin connects directly to the database server you configured (e.g., your own MySQL or PostgreSQL instance). Tolunsoft has no access to, control over, or visibility into those servers or the data they contain. You are solely responsible for securing your own database servers, including network access rules, authentication, and encryption settings.
b. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app displays ads using Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK), including banner, interstitial (full-screen), and rewarded (optional, user-initiated) ad formats. To serve and measure ads, Google may process certain technical data such as advertising identifiers, IP address, and device type under its own policies. Google's use of data is governed by Google's policies:
Depending on your region and consent settings, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. In regions that require consent (e.g., EEA/UK), the app may display an ad-consent dialog as required by Google. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID and limit personalized ads through the privacy settings on your Android device.
Other than the above, the app does not embed any other third-party analytics SDK.
5. Information Sharing
We (Tolunsoft) do not sell your personal data. Your database credentials and connection profiles are stored only on your device and are never shared with Tolunsoft or any third party. Limited technical data is processed by Google AdMob to serve ads, as described in Section 4. We may disclose information where required by valid law. Beyond that, we do not share your data with any other third party.
6. Data Storage & Security
All connection profiles, credentials, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. Their security depends on your own device-security measures, such as a screen lock and device encryption. We strongly recommend enabling these protections on any device where you store database credentials.
Database traffic travels directly from your device to your server; Tolunsoft does not sit in the path of that traffic. We recommend always enabling SSL/TLS on your database connections. No method of network communication is completely secure; while we build the app to follow security best practices, we cannot guarantee absolute security of any remote connection.
7. Your Rights
Because the app has no account system on Tolunsoft's side, you can delete all of the app's local data (connection profiles, preferences) at any time via Settings > Apps > MobileDB Admin > Storage > Clear Data on your Android device, or by uninstalling the app. You can also manage personalized-ad preferences and your Advertising ID through the privacy settings on your Android device. 8. Children's Privacy
This app is a technical database management tool intended for developers, system administrators, and adult users. It is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the age required in your region. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can address it.
